Open Positions

We are frequently looking for highly motived, successful, and dedicated researchers as well as excellent graduate/undergraduate students to join the CMEO team. For eligible candidates, we provide monthly stipend, accommodation or transportation expenses, private health insurance, funding to cover research-related expenses.

 

Main Responsibilities

All CMEO team members are expected to conduct cutting-edge research in one of fields of continuum mechanics, experimental methods, and structural optimization methods through developing in-house codes, analyzing related data, and transforming the results of the analyses into academic publications. Your all research activities will be directly coordinated by the principal investigator of CMEO research group, Prof. Kefal. Note that the postdoctoral fellows will also have the opportunity to develop personal research leveraging his/her previous studies.

 

Graduate Student Applicants (MSc or PhD)

Students, who are interested in joining us as a future graduate student, should directly apply to the manufacturing and/or mechatronics engineering graduate programs at Sabanci University. Before your applications, please check the minimum requirements for admission to our programs and feel free to contact Prof. Kefal by email to discuss available projects. 

 

Postdoctoral Applicants

Highly qualified and dedicated individuals interested in pursuing postdoctoral work in the CMEO research group should send their application via email directly to Prof. Kefal. Postdocs are also encouraged to apply for independent funding and excellent candidates will receive extra support with these applications.
