  1. Exploration, Design and Fabrication of Novel Adhesives based CMUTs Fabrication:
  • Complete design, fabrication and characterization of adhesives based CMUTs for underwater applications.
  1. Smart and Networking Under Water Robots in Cooperation Meshes (H2020-EU.2.1.1.7. ECSEL):
  • Design and mask preparation of thermocompression-bonded CMUT devices for underwater application.
  • Fabrication, Packaging, and characterization of thermocompression-bonded CMUT devices.
  1. Design and Implementation of ultrasonic based Microparticle detection and sorting system:
  • Fabrication and characterization of high frequency (25-30 MHz) CMUTs array transmitter and receiver
  • CMUT array characterization: Wire-bonding, Packaging, Impedance measurement, Water/oil tank measurements, Pulse-echo measurements
  1. Portable Low-Cost Ultrasound Imaging:
  • Fabrication, Wire-bonding, packaging, characterization of CMUTs for ultrasound imaging application, Pulse-echo measurement
  1. Water Tank depth measurement using a custom PZT Transducer
  • Determine and construct the matching and backing layer of PZT transducer.
  • Pulse-echo measurement and calculations to calculate depth of water.
