About Me

I am a social psychologist by training (PhD, York University) and I am currently an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Sabanci University. Before joining Sabanci University in 2017, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate of Marketing at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My primary research focus is on cultural differences in basic psychological processes, and how these cultural variations influence consumer decision-making and consumption behavior, informing the basics of successful cross-cultural marketing strategies. You may find a list of my recent publications here.
