Climatic changes can easily affect weather which is really important on Arctic. Extreme cold and drastic storms can affect Arctic communities for hunting animals that is Arctic communities? major living sources. Extreme weather conditions could disrupt seasonal animal harvest. Thus, animals like caribou and salmon are available only short periods of year so if Arctic communities can?t be able to hunt animals, because of bad weather, people can be malnourished and have health problems. Concerning climate changes, warmer temperature and melting ice can increase sea levels that can cause extensive erosion.

    Well written paragraph. 🙂

Only the following part needs to be explained a little better. You need to explain what do you mean by bad weather and how cariboues are affected by this and how this affects the people there. The last sentence also stands alone. You might prefer to omit this part but develop the part below better.

“Thus, animals like caribou and salmon are available only short periods of year so if Arctic communities can?t be able to hunt animals, because of bad weather, people can be malnourished and have health problems.”

    Thank you

Climatic changes can affect kind of animal species in Arctic. For example when temperature get warmer there would be loss of sea ice and it can threat large population of fish, whales, seals etc. On the other way when ice melts the salt of the water decrease and it can affect Salmons. Because they are adapted to very specific thermal regimes in both fresh and salt water. If salmon population decreases life in the Arctic would be difficult because nowhere on Earth are animals more important to human existence than in Arctic.

Well written paragraph: Ideas developed and connected well. 🙂

However, there are some minor language problems:
Pay attention to subject verb aggrement in your sentences: Salt level of water DECREASES or when temperature GETS warmer
“On the other way” is not a correct usage. To add a new similiar point you need linkers like “ADDITIONALLY”. For different forms of this lnking word look at the TRANSITIONAL SIGNALS page which is under WRITING page.

Communities in Arctic will be affected extremely in some areas. However, most important consequence of these changes is psychological and physical problems which people will probably have. Actually people have these health problems because of another great problems but this will provide much more negative outcomes. For example if people cannot do things they used to do anymore, they look for different ways. So it may causes to abuse on drug and alcohol. As a result of this they have to take up less predictable & reliable employment. On the other hand they have some physical problems because of genetically changed animals or being effected directly radiations from Sun and something like that.

Thank you for the paragraph but you need to develop certain parts:

“Actually people have these health problems because of another great problems but this will provide much more negative outcomes. For example if people cannot do things they used to do anymore, they look for different ways” – In the firsts sentence I do not know what is the first problem (becase you are saying ANOTHER great problem) and yo do not explain that another problem as well. In the second sentence you need to explain what is different today and how does that lead a problem

“As a result of this they have to take up less predictable & reliable employment.” – you need to explain what kind of jobs they had before and how drg use do not alloe them to have predictable jobs

“On the other hand they have some physical problems because of genetically changed animals or being effected directly radiations from Sun and something like that.” -Wrong use of ON THE OTHER HAND (it is used to give a contrast- look at the TRANSITIONAL SIGNALS page under WRITING on the blog). And I do not understand the genetically changed animals part of this sentence. This information is not coming from the book

One of the negative outcome of climate changing in Arctic is melting of lands. Because of Arctic is covered with ice, melting down is really big problem. Animals like polar bears started dying because of changing of their habitats. Also seals can?t seek because lack of land. And because of they can?t seek they haunted more easily. So animals are having hard times because of climate changing. Decrease of animal population humans living in Arctic can?t feed well because they feed their selves by hunting. And because of melting clean water resources be mixed up in sea and lack of water causes.

Thank you Cem, but it is obvious that you did not read the text in detail since all the ideas are abit vague and not developed well 🙁

In recent years the climate has been changing in THE arctic because of the global warming. In arctic ,there are indegenious people who lives there for a long time, people and animals have been effected because of the climate change.for instance, when the ice melts the level of the salt of the water decreases so salmons are effected.Furthermore climate changes effect everything not just the animals or people or the environment. As a result nourishment is an important thing for people,if people cannot nourished well ,it will cause some problems like abuse on drug and alcohol.

    Comment:
Thank you Oguz but you need to explain the chain of events better. For example what happens when salmons die and what happens to the other animals due to global warming and how are the indigenous affected from that. May be you should omit the last sentence but develop the first point more in detail.

Also pay attention to your punctuation. When the sentence inish you ned to put a full stop

There is vulnerable climate in Arctic and it can be affect sensitively by any changing of temperature.Arctic is a home for indegenious people and distinctive animals. These livings are in dangerous because of melting ice.Level of water increases, thus disappering their habitat which they need to live at.If this problem going to evolve like that, people will be malnourished. There will be occur health problems for animals and humans,so it can be some inclications to alcohol and drug

Well written paragraph accept the last two sentence. You need to explain better how people are malnourished. In the last sentence you also tak about animals but what is the connection between drug and alcohol use and animals.

Climate induced changes in Arctic has been affecting the life. Specially, animals are affected because of global warming in Arctic. One of the negative outcomes of climate change is loss of sea ice. Because of increasing in sea water temperature in Arctic, the ice has been melting. Also, there is an industrial fishing in Arctic and it threatens large populations of fish, whales, seals and polar bears. For example, in the Bering Sea, industrial fishing and climate change have been decreasing the species of fish in recent years. Population declines have had a significant impact on Alaska Native communities and their subsistence activities.

    Well developed paragraph. 🙂
Only the last sentence. I think you need to add FISH populations decline

    Thank you

The climate has to be very cold in Arctic.Because it all covered by ice.If temperature is being hot, ice could be melt.Arctic is a home for indegenious people and distinctive animals like polar bears, seals, fish, whales.Animals started dying because of changing of their habitats so animals will have really hard life circumstance an they have to survive for living. The people whom are living in Arctic couldn’t hunting and they don’t be nourished so there could be lots of health problems. As a result melting ice is really seriously problem for Arctic so we have to try to stop global warming. We should be more carefully about our earth.(word count:107)

    Comment:
Selen ideas are all there but they are in a way a bit vague and not connected very well. You need to explain this melting business abit better. You need to explain the chain a bit more in detail. It might be better to start the paragpraph with the indegenous people rather than the animals (3rd sentence). Then you could develop the paragraph better.

Your 3rd sentence has a logic problem.

Please pay attention to simple grammar mistakes. Please correct the mistakes in the following sentence.
The people whom are living in Arctic couldn’t hunting and they don’t be nourished so there could be lots of health problems.

    Thanks

The arctic is biologically and culturally unique environment where natural conditions still prevail.Indigenous populations have strong connection to the environment subsistence on wildlife and naturel resources. However the most important problem is health challenges.Climatic changes are effected on human health. As a result of climatic changes ; poverty, drug and alcohol abuse are increased. These are common problems but as traditional hunting and fishing-based economies collapse consequently problems give mass impact. In the other hand stratospheric ozone depletion also great risks for human health. That issue ;ozone depletion, damaging to human, plant and marine life.It effects humans health.Consequences on human health are skin cancer, eye lesions and cataracts.

Climate changes can affect our lives . Particularly, animals are affected because of this climate changes in Arctic . Also it cause some negative outcomes such as lose some lands because of melting ice. When the ice melts the level of the salt of the water decreases so salmons are effected. Also seals can?t seek because lack of land. And because of they can?t seek they haunted more easily. On the other hand people have some health problems due to global warming like skin cancer , eye lesions and cataracts. Moreover nourishment is an important thing for people so if they are malnourished ,it lead to some problems like they misuse drug and alcohol.
