Nakiye A. Boyacigiller

Boyacigiller was a Professor of International Management and a former Dean of the Sabanci School of Business  at Sabanci University. She was appointed emeritus professor upon her retirement from Sabancı.   She was elected a Fellow of the  Academy of International Business (AIB) in 2007. Prior to joining Sabanci as dean she was a professor of international management in the Lucas School of Management at San Jose State University in California for 17 years .

Dr. Boyacigiller has held leadership positions in several professional and academic organizations including most importantly her roles as President of the AIB (2015-16) Chair of the International Management Division of the Academy of Management on (1996-97). She has served the AACSB (The Association to Advance the Collegiate Schools of Business ) as a member of its Board of Directors and European Advisory Councils (2012-2014). I, Proj. Boyacigiller has served on the advisory boards of WU (Vienna University of Economics International Management) and CIIM,the Cyprus International Institute of Management and,GIBS of the University of Pretoria in South Africa.

Nakiye Boyacigiller is the proud mother of two daughters and is blessed with two granddaughters.

In 2018,she was made an Emeritus professor by Sabanci University and retired later that year.
