Ulf Nilsson has worked for Sabanci University since 2005. Previously he was an assistant professor at Bosphorus University.

Dr. Nilsson?s research deals with various forms and applications of managerial accounting for supply chain management. Currently he works with two colleagues at Stockholm School of Economics and studies the implementation and effects of open book strategies in the manufacturing, retail and service industries. His articles have been published in, among other journals, Contemporary Accounting Research, Management Accounting Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Industrial Marketing Management, and Qualitative Research in Accounting and Management. He has presented papers at numerous conferences, e.g. American Accounting Association (AAA), European Accounting Association (EAA) and European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM) et al. For the past 12 years, Dr. Nilsson has been teaching financial and managerial accounting at the introductory as well as at the MBA and Executive MBA level.

Dr. Nilsson serves as Director of the Executive MBA program and has chaired the committee working with FMAN?s AACSB application since 2005 when the work initiated.
