Ph.D. studentships available in biosimilar drug development project at Sabancı University, Istanbul.

Multiple Ph.D. studentship positions are available for a project on development of biosimilar drugs targeting cancer that has recently received funding from the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) for 4-years.

The candidates are expected to have at least a B.Sc. (preferably M.Sc. or an M.D.) degree in bioengineering, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, oncology or any related field with a strong motivation to pursue a research-based career in medical applications of biotechnology. Previous experience with one or more of the following techniques/instruments is a plus: mammalian cell culture, liquid chromotography, mass spectrometry, flow cytometry.

The selection of the candidates will be based on the competence of the applicant and the submitted letter of motivation. Selected candidates will be invited for an oral interview in English. Successful candidates will receive tution fee scholarships as well as salaries and are expected to start their Ph.D. studies no later than 2016 Spring Term.
