Sezer Lab Home Page

Welcome to the webpage of the laboratory of Deniz Sezer in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Sabanci University. We are associated with the programs of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering and Physics.

The main focus of our research is the dynamics of biological macromolecules under conditions relevant for their biological functions. We use atomistic molecular dynamics simulations to study macromolecular motions in aqueous environments. Our major aim is to develop a robust methodology for quantifying the manifestation of biological dynamics in electron spin resonance spectra and dynamic nuclear polarization experiments. Hence, we are in a unique position of viewing biomolecular and solvent dynamics through the eyes of reporter spin labels.
