About

I have finished my PhD studies at the Political Science department at Sabanci University in İstanbul. My dissertation research is about citizenship perceptions in Turkey. More specifically, I designed and conducted a survey based on Freedom House’s checklist of questions and applied to a sample of individuals based in İstanbul. My PhD research investigates the perceptions on civil, political, and social citizenship rights on the basis of political party preferences.

My majors are Comparative Politics and Political Theory. In addition, I am interested in and working on Citizenship Studies, Migration, Democratization, Theories of Rights and Democratic Theory.
