In the scope of my masters thesis, I am working on Stochastic Project Scheduling as part of a national research grant. Specifically, our objective is to generate a robust proactive multi project schedule for “resource constained multi-project scheduling problem under activity mode duration uncertainties”. We propose a decomposition scheme to deal with the NP-hard problem. After obtaining a quality/solution robust multi-project schedule, we further schedule individual projects to obtain more robust individual projects.
