Last Friday, as Sabancı Business School, we organized the 4th Business Analytics Workshop, bringing together around 400 participants, including industry leaders, global experts, and academics, to explore the latest developments in business analytics and AI applications.
The event began with a keynote by Omer Barbaros Yis (Karaca International) titled “Human-Centered Transformation in the Age of AI.” This was followed by other insightful talks, including Onur Varol (Sabancı University) discussing AI’s influence on user and group behavior in voting and decision-making processes, Özgür Özlük (Minerva University) on innovative technologies in education, Cihan Altay, MSc, LL.M (Türkiye İş Bankası) on AI applications in finance, and Ilknur KOKSAL and Orkun Kılıçlıoğlu (Ford Otosan) on AI-driven advancements in the automotive industry. We concluded with engaging sessions by Ezgi Akpinar (Sabancı University) on emotional content in social media and Ömer Faruk Çelebi (Kariyer.net) on AI’s transformative role in recruitment processes.
