On February 10, 2025, Monday, we had the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management Paper Development Workshop at Sabancı Business School, Sabanci University, in collaboration with IPSERA. With over 30 attendees, we enjoyed insightful sessions organized by JPSM Editors Carmela Di Mauro and Steven Carnovale, along with IPSERA President and Associate Editor Leonardo Marques.
Carmela Di Mauro shared best practices in publishing and led a session on crafting compelling introductions, complemented by an excellent hands-on exercise led by Leonardo Marques. Although Steven Carnovale could not attend physically, he gave an excellent online talk on advanced publishing challenges, including HARKing/p-hacking, mixed method considerations, and the role of artificial intelligence. Then, we had the roundtable sessions discussing together work-in-progress manuscripts of the participants.
A big thank you to our speakers for their engaging presentations and to all participants for their active contributions. It was a fantastic event, and I look forward to such knowledge-sharing opportunities in the future!
