New grant from TÜBİTAK

Thursday, June 18th, 2026

On Monday, my new TÜBİTAK-funded project officially began. It is called “Panel Studies of Optimism Bias and Positive Mood”, and it will run for the next two years.

My new postdoc and I will be running 6-wave longitudinal studies, to test whether within-person fluctuations in future expectancies predict later mood, depression, and anxiety. I look forward to posting our results here – watch this space!
