The recent collaborative work on the use of electrospun carbon metal nanofibrous fabric to enhance the key performance indicators of a vanadium/manganese redox flow battery, titled “Enhancement in the performance of a vanadium-manganese redox flow battery using electrospun carbon metal-based electrode catalysts” has been published in Materials Research Bulletin! Dr. Baidaa Sharani joined the group as a post-doctoral researcher. She will be working on stretchable batteries and their integration into wearable electronics.
The project titled “Development of stretchable lithium-ion batteries” has received TUBITAK 1001 support! The 2.5-years project aims to develop nanofiber-based stretchable component for lithium-ion batteries that can be used in wearable, flexible electronic devices.
