Kaan Yapıcı joined the group as a Master’s Student. He will be working on nanofiber-based self-chargable, flexible batteries.

Deniz Kesici joined the group as a Master’s Student. He will be working on nanofiber-based stretchable batteries.

Dr. Burak Özdemir joined the group as a project supported research fellow. He will be working on the development of lignin-based controlled-release foliar fertilizers within the scope of LignoNANO Project.

Dr. Baidaa Sharani joined the group as a post-doctoral researcher. She will be working on stretchable batteries and their integration into wearable electronics.

The project titled “Development of stretchable lithium-ion batteries” has received TUBITAK 1001 support! The 2.5-years project aims to develop nanofiber-based stretchable component for lithium-ion batteries that can be used in wearable, flexible electronic devices.

LignoNANO Platform, titled “Advanced Nanotechnological Materials and Systems with Added Value for Sustainable Circular Economy”, which aims to develop high value-added advanced nanotechnological materials from ligneous materials, has received TÜBİTAK 1004 support! I am leading a project, titled “Controlled Nutrient Release with Micro/Nanostructures and Nanoformulations” under the LignoNANO platform.

The recent work I have been involved on nanofiber based photothermal air filters has been published in ACS Applied Nano Materials: Photothermal Electrospun Nanofibers Containing Polydopamine-Coated Halloysite Nanotubes as Antibacterial Air Filters
