INTERACT Medical Technologies:

Co-Founder / Lead Mechatronics/Design Engineer

  • Design and implementation of passive full-body mobile exoskeleton for load carrying
  • Design, control, and implementation of surgical robot console with force, and tremor feedback
  • Design, control, and implementation of mobile leg exoskeleton with force feedback for improving walking and running performance of healthy humans and for decreasing fatigue during operation
  • Development of passive gravity compensation mechanism for industrial workspaces in order to carry heavy loads with operator
  • Development, design, implementation, and commercialization of upper extremity exoskeleton for physical rehabilitation
  • Development of robot assisted assessment methods that are used in robotic rehabilitation
  • Development, design, implementation, and commercialization of lower extremity exoskeleton for physical rehabilitation
  • Technical documentation for CE marking and ISO 13485, knowledge of FDA and ISO 13485:2003 to manage medical device materials and related processes, utilize process validation, CAPA, QMS
  • Troubleshoot production and other issues utilizing problem solving techniques

Fall 2014 – ongoing :

Human – Machine Interaction Lab:

  • Design, analysis and implementation of shoulder-elbow, gait and leg exoskeletons.
  • Development of user friendly, interactive, human-in-the-loop, passivity based control methods that are compatible with state-of-art rehabilitation protocols.
  • Development of robot assisted assessment methods that are used in robotic rehabilitation.

Design, Analysis, Control and Implementation of Full Arm Exoskeleton (ASSISTON-SEW)

  • Design, analysis and implementation of shoulder-elbow exoskeleton: design, production and implementation of cable based actuated, 10 DoF active rehabilitation  device for stroked patients or patients who lost upper extremity body functions.
