Sevgili Lojman Sakinleri ve Sabancı Üniversitesi Çalışanları,

Bilgi Merkezi hizmet ve olanaklarımızdan çocuklarınızın yararlanması için çeşitli düzenlemeler yapılmıştır. Aşağıda düzenlemeleri bulabilirsiniz:

• Kitap Bağışı ve Kitaplardan Tüm Çocukların Yararlanması: Çocukların yararlanması için çocuk kitapları bağışlayabilirsiniz. Kitapların ödünç verme bankosuna getirilip teslim edilmesi yeterlidir. Kitaplar değerlendirildikten sonra uygun olmayanlar iade edilecektir. Bu kitapların bilgileri web sayfamızdan paylaşılacaktır. Mevcut çocuk kitaplarına buradan erişebilirsiniz. Çocukların bu kitapları seçebileceği bir yer düzenlenmiştir. Çocuklar geldiklerinde, Bilgi Merkezi çalışan eşliğinde ve yönlendirmesi ile kendileri bu kitaplardan seçebilecekler ve ödünç alabileceklerdir.
• Bilgi Merkezi Üyelik Kartı: İsteyen ailelerin çocukları için Sabancı Üniversitesi mensubu olan çalışanın sorumluluğu alması koşulu ile çocuklara özel üyelik kartı çıkartılacaktır. Çocuklar, bu kart ile Bilgi Merkezi koleksiyonlarından ödünç kitap alabileceklerdir. Bunun için, sorumluluğu aldığınızı bildiren bir mesajla çocukların bilgilerini ve fotoğraflarını “bm@sabanciuniv.edu” adresine göndermeniz yeterli olacaktır.
• Bilgi Merkezi Oryantasyonu: Yaş gruplarına göre, kütüphane / bilgi merkezleri nasıl kullanılır, ödevler yapılırken Bilgi Merkezi kaynaklarından hangilerini kullanabilirsiniz vb  konuları içeren bilgilendirme sunumu ve BM binası turu yapılacaktır. Bu oryantasyondan yararlanmasını istediğiniz çocukların bilgilerini “bm@sabanciuniv.edu” adresine göndermeniz yeterlidir.
• Okuma Günleri: Bilgi Merkezi tarafından belirlenen tarihlerde, çocuklara kitap okunacaktır. Çocuklarınızın bu etkinliklere katılmasını isterseniz bizi bilgilendirmeniz yeterlidir.
• Film Günleri: Bilgi Merkezi tarafından belirlenen tarihlerde, çocuklara film gösterimi yapılacaktır. Çocuklarınızın bu etkinliklere katılmasını isterseniz bizi bilgilendirmeniz yeterlidir.

Dear Housing Residents and Sabancı University Employees,

Some arrangements have been made for the children of the employees that would like to benefit from the Information Center. You can find the arrangements below:

• Book Donations and borrowing of the donated books by the children: Children?s books can be donated voluntarily to the Information Center for the children by their parents. The ones who would like to donate books can inform us and deliver them to the Information Center?s circulation desk. After the evaluation, inappropriate books will be returned to the donator. The information of the books will be shared on the web page of the Information Center. You can access the list of the books here. A special place is set up where the children  can browse books and borrow them with the guidance of experienced Information Center staff.
• Information Center Membership Card: If one of the parents is Sabancı University member, the children will be given an IC membership card. Parents assume the responsibility for their children?s Information Center?s account. Children can borrow books with this card. If you would like to have a card for your children, please send an e-mail (bm@sabanciuniv.edu) that is indicated that you have assume the responsibility and do not forget to attach the personal information and photographs of your children.
• Information Center Orientation: An orientation will be given to the children about the services and facilities offered by libraries and information centers regarding their ages. Also, they will be informed how to do research for their homework and which materials are appropriate for them. Moreover, there will be tour in the Information Center building to see the locations of the collections. If you would like to join your children in this activity, please inform us by sending an email to “bm@sabanciuniv.edu”.
• Reading Days: Reading Days will be held on specific days which will be announced by the Information Center.  If you would like to join your children in this activity, please inform us.
• Movie Days: Film screening will be held on specific days which will be announced by the Information Center. If you would like to join your children in this activity, please inform us.
