Joint Workshop on Compact Objects

The joint workshop is a merger of two TUBITAK supported mini-workshops coincided in time, Workshop 1: ‘Accretion in black holes’ organized by Dr. Emrah Kalemci and Workshop 2: ‘Characteristics of highly magnetized neutron stars’ organized by Dr. Ersin Gogus.
The aim of both workshops is to foster an environment for graduate students and young postdocs to present their work on high energy astrophysics with ample time for discussions for transfer of knowledge from senior participants. In the meantime, outputs of associated TUBITAK projects will be disseminated.

Those who would like to present recent results, the e-mail must include a title and abstract. The email of graduate students should include the name and e-mail of her/his advisor.
The deadline for sending an abstract is July 1st, 2017
There is no poster session, and we will only consider applicants with an abstract for an oral presentation.
Registration is free.
Limited funding is available through TUBITAK grants for graduate students for travel, lodging, and meals. Please indicate if you need support in your e-mail. Looking forward to seeing you in Istanbul.
