Hello.

I’m an Associate Professor at Sabancı University, Istanbul.  I study cognitive processes, emotion, and how they influence each other.  In particular, I look at how anxiety influences attention and risk estimates, and the role of executive control in these influences.

I also work on psychiatric epidemiology and social psychology.
